Highlights from Catalyst Day #1

I've been to Catalyst 6 times, but this was my first time to hang out at Catalyst Labs. Some highlights...

• Had fun teaching 450 leaders in a workshop this afternoon. It was filled with technical difficulties, but God seemed to give me the strength to recover and deliver helpful information.
• Met Gabe Lyons, Andy Crouch, and Cathleen Falsani in a group interview with Alan Nelson of REV! Magazine.
• Enjoyed talking with Steven Furtick from Elevation Church. Steven's wife (Holly) and I have shared history, both alumni from Life Action Ministries.
• Met Mike Foster of Deadly Viper fame.
• Met Dino Rizzo and Marc Cleary from Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge.
• Met Tim Elmore, Mark Foreman and Efrem Smith in a video-taped interview on the future of the church.
• Talked to John Burke, Brad Lomenick, Tony Morgan, Tim Avery, Joel Hunter and others.

Looking forward to more good times tomorrow. If I can get an wifi signal, I'll be blogging during the sessions.
