3 Resources To Help You Lead Smarter In 2016

This past weekend was a blast and full of emotion as I married off our oldest daughter Heather. It was a joy to have the family together and give her away to a wonderful young man. In the next few weeks I'll write an entire article on what I learned, felt and experienced through this weekend.

But for now, and before we get too far into 2016, I wanted to share three upcoming leadership development opportunities I'm honored to be a part of in the next few months.

1. VanderCoaching...on-demand, video coaching for church leaders on building great teams.

On a daily basis, our team at Vanderbloemen is asked, "What are other church leaders out there doing?" So we've created a 10-week video coaching course to help answer that question. We cover everything you need to know about team building from hiring, firing, succession planning, and volunteer development. I participated in leading a portion of the training in the Volunteer module, providing learnings from my days building the volunteer teams at Granger. If you're looking for an affordable leadership development tool to help you lead smarter, check out VanderCoaching.com

2. Executive Pastor Coaching Network...face-to-face, roundtable coaching for Executive Pastors.

Our Spring dates are open! This will be my 14th time to host Executive Pastors for a season of coaching, and I look forward to it every time. Join Jenni Catron, William Vanderbloemen, Eric Rojas, me, and as many as 15 Executive Pastors from around the country as we discuss growth challenges, money issues, and staffing best practices for churches. This network will fill up fast, so click here to apply.

3. Propel Conference...the conference for churches under 300.

I'm honored to be a part of the Propel Conference on January 28th. It's specifically designed to help small churches overcome their unique challenges. I'll be joined by Ron Edmondson and 10 other pastors and church leaders who will provide content specifically for churches of 300 in attendance and below.
