In case you missed all the drama last night, let me break it down for you.

Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video. As she began to give her acceptance speech, Kanye West jumped up on the stage and basically said she didn't deserve it. Watch for yourself:

MTV did the right thing and canceled his performance that was to happen later in the show, and he left the building. Soon after he issued an apology on his blog. Too little too late dude. If I had any Kanye on my iPod, I'd delete it. That was so much lower than his "George Bush doesn't care about black people" comment from a few years ago.

At the end of the show, Beyonce won the most esteemed award of the night for Best Video. And she showed huge class by giving up her speech and giving her time to Taylor Swift:
