Many are saying the election on Tuesday is going to be a landslide. It might be, I don't know. But whatever the results, let's keep it in perspective. There were two elections in the past 35 years that could definitely be described as landslides.

1972:    Richard Nixon = 520      George McGovern = 17

1984:    Ronald Reagan = 525       Walter Mondale = 13
