There is a new show on The CW network that is good for the whole family. It's called Life is Wild and we watched it last night (in high definition, of course) with our girls and all enjoyed it. It is the story of a blended family from New York City who tries to stay together by moving to South Africa for one-year. The first episode was full of drama, excitement and emotion, and has some great messages that you can talk through together when the closing credits roll.

Time will tell whether a family drama like this will make it. The Boston Globe says it is "too tame", and the Detroit Free Press says it is "far from cutting edge".

But for the Stevens' family...it is nice to be able to watch something together.
