Mark Waltz and I just finished a 10-hour day of training about 90 United Methodist pastors from the South Georgia conference. We are at Epworth By The Sea, a beautiful facility on St. Simons Island in southeast Georgia.

• This has been a great group to train. Lots of variety of backgrounds, but everyone eager to learn.
• It's nice to hang with a bunch of Methodists who all agree that we should focus on introducing people to Jesus!
• My wake-up call came from real live woman with a very southern accent who yelled, "Time to Rise and Shine!"
• I ate grits tonight for dinner. I like grits.

We finish training this morning and head home tonight!
