Good Buzz About Community Center
The best kind of "buzz" is when it is initiated by others because of what your church is doing to help people. We've experienced some of that in our community in the past few weeks as we've made progress on our downtown South Bend community center.
I mentioned it a couple of weeks ago here, but I thought you might be interested in what the local media is saying about the project.
- WSJV (Fox 28) in South Bend reports here that "...the Church has already been providing a food pantry for more than a year and is really looking to empower people with the center."
- South Bend Tribune reports here that the City of South Bend is providing $100,000 for the project.
- WNDU (NBC 16) in South Bend reports here that the Community Center focus "is on three areas: an educational wing, vocational and artistic development and a cafe."
I'll be talking more about this story and about "buzz" this week during my session at the Buzz Conference.
